Music Magazine Questionnaire
This is the questionnaire I made about my initial ideas. I created this so that I could get feedback from my target audience to make sure I meet their needs.

In conclusion, I am quite happy with the finished product however, I have never used Serif Pageplus before and feel that if I was more familiar with the programme then I would have been able to make the school magazine look more professional. I felt restricted with what I could do with the magazine as I was not used to the programme.

SECOND DRAFT AND FINAL DRAFT
The logos have been placed into square boxes which have been tilted. The use of these boxes makes the magazine look more informal and more like a magazine rather than a prospectus.
The colour of the lures has been changed to white, as the red looked ‘tacky’ and slightly amateur.

FIRST DRAFT
Using DTP and an image manipulation program, we have produced the front page of a new school/college magazine, featuring a photograph of a student.
The target audience is 11-18 year olds (years 7-13) because it is a school magazine.
The magazine title is Consortium Chronicle. The font of the title has been used to give an edge of formality.
Due to the magazine being a consortium magazine, we have all 3 logos of the 3 different schools that are included in the consortium.
The lure titles are slanted which makes the magazine less formal. The font of the lure titles are funky and modern which makes the magazine appealing to our target audience.

PLANNING
This rough sketch shows sports day, the school is in the background with students watching and also shows the running event taking place, sports day is a big event at our school, however, this would not work as sports day is in the summer and I would not be able to gather that many students.
